         Turun kaupungin hankinta- ja logistiikkakeskus pyysi yksityisiltä palveluntuottajilta Turun kaupungin kaikkien toimialojen, Turun kaupunginteatteri Oy:n ja Turun ammattikorkeakoulu Oy:n käyttöön käännöspalveluja ajalle 15.3.2017 – 14.3.2019.

         Hankinnasta tehtiin kirjallinen sopimus osakokonaisuuden 1 englanti osalta yhden palveluntuottajan ja yhden varapalveluntuottajan kanssa.

         Hankinnasta tehtiin kirjallinen sopimus osakokonaisuuden 2 ruotsi osalta yhden palveluntuottajan ja yhden varapalveluntuottajan kanssa.

         Käännöspalveluiden hankinta täydentää Turun kaupungin omia käännöspalveluita. Palveluita tarvitaan esimerkiksi esitteiden, tiedotteiden, erilaisten asiakirjojen, ohjelmien, raporttien ja internetsivujen kääntämiseen. Kaupunki etsii erityisesti julkishallinnon termistöön erikoistuneita yhteistyökumppaneita, joilla on vahvaa kokemusta myös esimerkiksi juridisista teksteistä sekä teknisestä ja lääketieteellisestä osaamisesta. Pääosin käännöspalveluita tarvitaan suomen kielestä toiselle kielelle, satunnaisesti myös päinvastoin.
