         Kohde on entinen Alppilan yhteislyseo, jossa viime vuosina on toiminut peruskoulun yläaste ja lukio. Perusparannuksen jälkeen tiloihin jää ainoastaan lukio.

         Perusparannettava 4-1 kerroksinen rakennus muodostuu sisäpihan ympärille kalliorinteeseen ryhmittyvistä siivistä. A-siivessä sijaitsevat pääsisäänkäynti, pääaula ja hallintotilat sekä pääosa opetustiloista. B-siiven kahteen (2) ylimmässä kerroksessa on luokkatiloja, kahdessa alemmassa kerroksessa on mm. sos- ja työtiloja sekä väestönsuoja. C-siivessä sijaitsevat liikuntatilat. D-siivessä on juhlasali ja neljä luokkaa. Liikuntasalisiipi rakennetaan kokonaan uudestaan, jotta siitä saadaan esteetön ja liikuntasalit voidaan yhdistää.

         A-siiven uudet, pienet ilmanvaihtokonehuoneet sijoitetaan jokaiseen kerrokseen kumpaankin päätyyn. Uusittavan liikuntasalisiiven 3.kerrokseen sijoittuu liikuntasalia, juhlasalisiipeä ja B-siipeä palveleva iv-konehuone.

         Kaikki tilat perusparannetaan ja talotekniikka uusitaan.
