         Tämä hankinta koskee Lahden eteläinen kehätie -hankkeen osan 1A teknistä suunnittelua ja rakentamista. Hankeosan toteutusmuotona on suunnittele ja toteuta (ST) -urakka.

         Hankeosassa valtatie 12 suunnitellaan ja rakennetaan n. 9 km matkalla pääosin uudessa maastokäytävässä Soramäen ja Okeroisten välillä kaksikaistaiseksi valtatieksi sisältäen mm. siltojen ja melusuojauksen rakentamista.

         Hankinta sisältää valtatien 12 rakentamishankkeen hankeosan 1A toteutuksen. Lahden eteläinen kehätie – 1A hankeosassa valtatie 12 rakennetaan uudelle linjaukselle. Tielle rakennetaan eritasoliittymät Soramäkeen, Nostavaan sekä Okeroisiin. Hankeosaan sisältyy siltatöitä ja suurimmat sillat ovat Vähäjoen ja Luhdanjoen vihersillat. Tarkemmat laajuustiedot on esitetty tarjouspyyntöaineistossa.

         Liikennevirasto on kilpailuttanut erikseen hankkeen rakennuttajakonsultin. Rakennuttajakonsulttina toimii Rakennuttajatoimisto HTJ Oy.

         Alustavan aikataulun mukaan hankeosan suunnittelu alkaa loppuvuodesta 2017 ja varsinaiset rakennustyöt keväällä 2018.
