         Sopimusta voidaan jatkaa tilaajan optiona yhden (1) vuoden ajan. Lisävuodesta tehdään päätös erikseen viimeistään kuukautta ennen sopimuksen päättymistä, kuitenkin kolmen (3) vuoden sisällä alkuperäisen hankintasopimuksen allekirjoittamisesta. Lisähankinnan käytöstä päättää kuntayhtymän hallitus.

         Sopimuksen jatkamisen edellytyksenä on, että urakoitsijan työsuoritus vastaa tilaajan odotuksia ja sopimuksen jatkaminen on kaikin puolin mahdollista senhetkisessä tilanteessa.
