         Vantaan kaupungille toimivat tuotteet ja palvelut omien kiinteistöjen mekaanisten ja elektronisten lukitustuotteiden sekä sarjoitus-, lukitus-, korjaus- ja huoltopalveluiden suorittamiseksi. Vantaan kaupungin kiinteistöjä ovat kaupungin omistamat koulut, päiväkodit, urheilutilat, sairaala, terveysasemat, virastot, varikot, monitoimitalot sekä asunnot.

Hankinnan jakamattomuus perustuu Vantaan kaupungin tarpeeseen tehdä yhteistyötä lukitusalan toimittajan kanssa, jolle muodostuu kokonaiskuva Vantaan kaupungin toiminnan piirteistä. Jatkuvien toimeksiantojen takia kokonaisvastuullinen lukitusalan tuotteita ja palveluita tuottava toimittaja pystyy luomaan yhteneväiset käytännöt sekä rakentaa kokonaisymmärryksen Vantaan kaupungin rakennuskannasta sekä rakennusten tarvitsemista lukitusalan tuotteista ja tarvikkeista sekä hyödyntää tietoaan Vantaan kaupungin toiminnan kehittämiseksi.
