         Puitejärjestelyssä on kolme (3) osa-aluetta:

         1 Liikenneväylien suunnitteluprosessi;

         2 Tien liikennetekniikka ja hankekohtainen liikennesuunnittelu;

         3 Tien liikenteen ohjaus ja varusteet.

         Toimeksiantoihin kuuluu Liikenneviraston ohjeluettelon (www.liikennevirasto.fi/ohjeluettelo) ohjeiden päivitystä em. osa-alueiden osalta. Toimeksiantoina teetetään myös edellä mainittujen osa-alueiden ohjeita tukevia selvityksiä. Lisäksi voidaan teettää muita osa-alueisiin tai ohjejärjestelmään liittyviä tehtäviä, kuten neuvonta- ja tarkastuspalvelua. Toimeksiantoihin voi sisältyä ohjeiden laatiminen alustavista esiselvityksistä aina ohjeen painokuntoon saattamiseen asti. Tehtävään voi myös kuulua ohjeluonnosten kommentointi, tarvittavan esittelymateriaalin tuottaminen, projekti- ja ohjausryhmien kokousaineistojen ja muistioiden laatiminen. Kunkin yksittäisen toimeksiannon sisältö sovitaan aina erikseen.

         – johtojen, kaapeleiden ja muiden laitteiden sijoittamiseen ja tiealueella tapahtuvaan puutavaran käsittelyyn liittyvät lupaprosessit, ohjeet ja niiden taustaselvitykset,
